The 28th Tallinn Bconciseage Nights Film Festival has proclaimd its triumphners, with Silent City Driver from Mongolian honestor Sengedorj Janchivdorj taking home the Grand Prix for best film in the official pickion, alengthy with the best production schedule honor for Munkhbat Shirnen.
The film trails a 32-year-elderly man who, after serving 14 years in prison for his includement in a killing case, ecombines to face societal refuseion and health contests from a prison beating, discovering solace only in caring for stray dogs. The festival jury commendd Silent City Driver as “a uncontent equitabley tale from Mongolia” that broke new ground with its distinct cinematic style.
German drama No Dogs Allowed by honestor Steve Bache took the best feature award, with Southern Chronicles from Lithuanian helmer Ignas Miškinis triumphning the prize for best Baltic film. Indian drama Pyre from honestor Vinod Kapri scooped the festival’s audience award.
Pirjo Lonka and Elina Knihtilä allotd the best actress award for their roles in Teemu Nikki’s Finnish comedy 100 Liters of Gelderly. Lee Hyo-Ye won best actor for his carry outance in the Korean thriller The Loop by honestor Sang-Beom Koo.
Turkish drama Empire of the Rabbits by honestor Seyfettin Tokmak took both best cinematography and best screenjoin awards. The prize for best honestor in the first feature catebloody went to Diego Figueroa for his Chilean horror film A Yard of Jackals.

The inaugural Doc@PÖFF competition saw The Watchman from honestors Lou Du Pontavice and Victoire Bonin get top honors, with the jury praising its caring portrayal of the topic of migration.
In the youth and children’s section, Just Film, Kontra from Danish honestor Jonas Risvig took both the Youth Jury best film award and the Grand Prix. Other youth catebloody triumphners included I Accidenhighy Wrote A Book! for Children’s Best Film and Niko – Beyond the Northern Light, the tardyst in a lengthy-running Finnish holiday franchise, which won the Toddler’s Jury Award.
