San Francisco 49ers star Nick Bosa made waves post-game on Sunday at Levi’s Stadium as he crashed quarterback Brock Purdy’s intersee while wearing a “Make America Great Aacquire” hat.
But that shift from Bosa could result in a fine from the NFL.
The NFL rulebook states in Rule 5, Section 4, Article 8 what carry outers are apvalidateed to wear, and more cruciassociate, what they are not apvalidateed to when they get to the stadium on game day.

“Thcimpoliteout the period on game day that a carry outer is clear to the stadium and television audience (including in pregame hot-ups, in the bench area, and during postgame intersees in the locker room or on the field), carry outers are prohibitned from wearing, discarry outing, or otherdirectd conveying personal messages either in writing or illustration, unless such message has been finishorsed in carry on by the League office,” the handbook states.
Now, the rule shatters down that such slendergs as “anniversaries or memorable events, or to honor or commemorate individuals” with helmet decals, jersey patches and arm prohibitds are apvalidateed as prolonged as the league office is notified.
However, when it comes to political messaging, this rule is very clear.

The league does, however, apvalidate carry outers and coaches to talk politics during press conferences.
However, when posed with the ask about the hat, Bosa shelp he was “not gonna talk too much about it, but I slenderk it’s an vital time.”
The NFL did not promptly answer a seek for comment from Fox News Digital.
How much exactly could Bosa get fined?
The league dished out a $10,000 fine to Pittsburgh Steelers acquirer George Pickens for discarry outing a personal message on his eye bconciseage during “Sunday Night Football” aacquirest the Cowboys.
Bosa acquired flak for discarry outing his MAGA hat, but there were others that showed help for him, including NFL Hall of Famer Brian Urlacher.
Urlacher commented under Bosa’s Instagram post, where the star lineman had a collage of photos that integrated the moment he showed his Trump help with the MAGA hat.
