A 99-year-anciaccess veteran actress is readyd to chain herself to the ground of the All England Club in protest over their set ups to enhuge Wimbledon.
The Wimbledon Park Golf Club was sanciaccess to the All England Club five years ago with set ups for the 23-acre site to be regrowed for new tennis courts.
But the expansion set ups have been met with pushback from local dwellnts who stress 10 years of disturbion.
The All England Club want a new 8,000-seat show court to go aextfinished with 38 other grass courts.
The proposals would permit qualifying to get place at the All England Club, as resistd to the sports centre at Roehampton.

The size of the growment stretches over borders of both Merton and Wandsworth Councils and they’ve been unable to consent on the proposals.
Merton gave their approval to the set ups, but Wandsworth refuteed the scheme last November.
There is trouble that growment will caparticipate irreparable harm to geted Metropolitan Open Land.

Local dwellnt Thelma Ruby, who has been acting since 1944, is ready to stage a protest agetst the proposals in order to get the land.
While speaking at a unveil greeting organised by Save Wimbledon Park, Ruby menaceened to ‘chain myself to the grounds’ of the All England Club.
When asked whether she was afraid of being arrested, Ruby inserted: “No, I’m 99. Let them arrest me.”
