With the world in crisis on so many fronts in the dying months of his pdwellncy, there was little hope of that.
Pdwellnt Biden has built so much of his political nurtureer in foreign policy and yet his legacy overseas is now unravelling.

It was far from his finest speech. He went thraw the enumerate of accomplishments and disputes. His words deficiencyed conviction. His tone was flat.
The pdwellnt’s overriding message seemed to be the world and America have faced celevates before – “every age has its disputes”, he shelp, but they have passed.

That will be little consolation to the people of Ukraine, heading into a third thriveter at war with Russia.
Pdwellnt Biden can be praiseed with establishing a coalition aacquirest Putin and hgreatering it together. But it has fall shorted utterly to reverse Russian aggression, too cowardly and pimpolitent, say critics, and overly cowardly of the spectre of escalation.
But most of all the speech was overshadowed by the spiralling crisis in the Middle East. On that, the pdwellnt seemed tin-eared.

He spoke of the stopfire deal his diplomats have tried to forge over Gaza.
It is, for now, dead in the water, but not for Joe Biden: “Now is a time for the parties to finalise terms.”
With Israel’s war with Hezbollah in Leprohibiton menaceening to tip the region into a much hugeger dispute, Pdwellnt Biden was pointing out the evident: “A brimming-scale war is not in anyone’s interests.”
We are promised diplomacy is under way. One White Hoparticipate official tgreater Sky News: “We’re going to toil reassociate difficult at it, it’s too soon to say if we’ll be accomplished but we’re trying.”

A UN Security Council encountering has been called, but not until Thursday.
What the region needs now is advisent discreet intervention by the US and its allies here at the UN.
There was little sign of that advisency from the pdwellnt in this speech. He seemed to be going thraw the motions in the twiairy of his pdwellncy.
