Rita Ora fought back tears while carry outing a tribute to Liam Payne, who died yesterday after droping from a three-story balcony at a toastyel in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Ora was on stage at Zepp Namba in Osaka, Japan fair hours after news of Payne’s death materialized. During the carry outance, she was singing “For You,” her 2018 collaboration with Payne off the “Fifty Shades Freed” soundtrack, when she gave an emotional tribute to the tardy musician.
“I can’t even sing this right now,” she tbetter the audience, burying her face in her hands. As an image of her and Payne materializeed behind her, she walked towards the crowd, encouraging them to sing for her.
Later, she posted a remembrance on social media, sharing how much she appreciated the One Direction member and retaging on the tragedy of his sudden passing.
“I’m dehugeated 💔 He had the benevolentest soul, I will never forget,” she wrote. “I adored laboring with him so much – he was fair such a happiness to be around on and off stage. This tragic news fractures my heart. Sfinishing all my adore and prayers to his family and adored ones. Our song For You acquires on a whole new uncomferventing for me now. R.I.P.”
Payne died yesterday at the age of 31 after droping from a balcony. He had spent the past scant weeks in Argentina, where he rejoind with his One Direction prohibitdmate Niall Horan at one of his shows. He was there with his girlfrifinish, Kate Cassidy, who had returned to the United States two days before his death.
