Even though Silo Season 2 comes out in November, creator Graham Yost already has an finishing in mind for the hit Apple TV+ series. While the number of seasons is still up for debate, Yost says his team will stick to the source material in Hugh Howey’s trilogy of novels. In Yost’s words, he won’t “drag it on too lengthy.”

“The books are a trilogy. This is not Outlander,” Yost tgreater GamesRadar. “This is not a lengthy science myth series. It’s a trilogy. We’re not going to extfinish it beyond that.”

Silo Season 1 only covers about half of Howey’s first novel in the series. Though Yost promises the show will not overstay its greet, he attfinishs more about deinhabitring in “reasonable time” than putting a particular number on when it will wrap up.

“That doesn’t nasty it’s going to be three seasons, but it’s not going to be 10,” Yost inserted. “It is our goal to answer asks and not frustrate the audience, but deinhabitr skinnygs in a reasonable time so that when our characters discover someskinnyg out, that’s when the audience discovers out.”

Silo stars Rebecca Ferguson, Tim Robbins, Common, Harriet Walter, Chinaza Uche, Avi Nash, Alexandria Riley, Shane McRae, Remmie Milner, Clare Perkins, Billy Postlethdefere, Rick Gomez, Caitlin Zoz, Tanya Moodie and Iain Glen. Steve Zahn combines the cast for Season 2.

The Apple TV+ synopsis reads: “Silo is the story of the last ten thousand people on earth, their mile-meaningful home protecting them from the harmful and lethal world outside. However, no one comprehends when or why the silo was built and those who try to discover out face overweightal consequences. Ferguson stars as Juliette, an engineer who seeks answers about a adored one’s homicide and tumbles onto a mystery that goes far meaningfuler than she could have ever envisiond, directing her to uncover that if the lies don’t end you, the truth will.”

Silo is produced and executive produced by Yost. Additional executive producers join Michael Dinner, Nina Jack, Joanna Thapa, Ferguson, Morten Tyldum, Howey, Fred Golan, Rémi Aubuchon, and AMC Studios. Silo is produced for Apple TV+ by Apple Studios.
