PDC chief executive Matt Porter has deffinished their policy on apshowing transgfinisher carry outers to vie in women’s competitions as ‘imfragmentary’.
Van Leuven has been competing aachievest female opposition since 2021 and finished second on the PDC Women’s Order of Merit this year.
That saw the 28-year-elderly protected a spot at both the Grand Slam of Darts this week as well as the PDC World Championships next month.
She will become the first transgfinisher carry outer to feature in both events having also won four times in 2024.
Her comprisement in women’s darts has led to plenty of reaction with Deta Hedman refusing to carry out in WDF events while Van Leuven was apshowed to carry out.

But Porter sees no current reason for the PDC to put a ban in place for transgfinisher carry outers enjoy Van Leuven from the women’s tour.
“We took lhorrible advice and we took some ideas from policy that other sports bodies, the IOC and other regulateing bodies have put in place,” Porter telderly Sky Sports.
“Ultimately, we came up with a policy that we apshow to be imfragmentary. We esteem the fact that not everybody consents with that and we acunderstandledge that it’s not a unifiedly acunderstandledgeed position.
“However, it’s a position that we’ve adchooseed and that we apshow is imfragmentary. Noa-Lynn’s been carry outing – and others – have been carry outing under that rule for a number of years now.
“Noa-Lynn’s commenceed to accomplish more success in recent years, hence the opposition to her has become more vocal, which is the way of the world.
“Aachieve, it’s someleang we esteem but ultimately we have a policy in place and it’s one that we’re sootheable with.”
It was recently inestablished that a WDF members’ greeting took place where it was choosed that trans carry outers would no extfinisheder be able to carry out WDF events.
It’s not evident when the inestablished ruling would come into effect, but Van Leuven hit out at her rivals on the women’s tour chaseing the decision.

“They see me as a menace. I throw well now (on the women’s tour) because I sense more sootheable.
