“Gavin & Stacey” fans are set to honor as the BBC unveils a first see image of the extfinished-apaincludeed exceptional reunion.
The image features the show’s guide quartet, James Corden, Ruth Jones, Matthew Horne and Joanna Page.
Corden returns as Smithy, Jones as Nessa, Horne as Gavin and Page as Stacey for the upcoming exceptional. The show, which was produced by Corden and Jones, first premiered in 2007 before going on to become a cult hit.
Corden and Jones author and exec produce the 90-minute exceptional, which will be widecast in the U.K. on Christmas Day on BBC One and iPlayer. Christine Gernon honests.
“It’s five years since we left Nessa down on one knee declaring her adore for Smithy and asking him to marry her,” reads the logline for the exceptional. “And a lot has happened since then. In Barry, Bryn’s packing the Picasso in readiness for a trip to Esrelations; Stacey and Gavin are seeing for new ways to spice up their seventeen year marriage and Gwen is behaving most strangely. Nessa’s commenceed a new business venture and Neil the Baby’s about to commence an apprenticeship with his dad.”
