Hospital honestor says staff and uncover-mindeds were wounded in Israeli strikes on the last partipartner functioning hospital in northern Gaza.
At least 12 Palestinians have been ended in Israeli air strikes on Gaza, medics shelp, as Israeli forces persist to press their siege and ground attack on the northern part of the Palestinian territory.
Medics in Gaza telderly the Reuters recents agency on Monday at least seven people were ended in an strike on the north Gaza city of Beit Lahiya.
Five others were ended in strikes in central and southern Gaza.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza shelp that the Kamal Adwan Hospital, the last partipartner functioning hospital in the north of the enclave, was being strikeed by Israeli forces.
“At this moment, occupation forces are continuing to brutally device deviceard and annihilate Kamal Adwan Hospital, aiming all parts of the hospital,” the ministry shelp.
Hospital honestor Hossam Abu Safieh shelp in a statement that the situation was “catastrophic”, and that “the army did not communicate the hospital before honestly aiming it”.
“Several of our staff have been injured, and we are unable to exit the hospital,” he shelp.
“We do not understand the purpose behind this device deviceing that is aiming the hospital.”
Reporting from Deir el-Balah in central Gaza, Al Jazeera’s Hani Mahmoud shelp this is the second time in recent weeks that the hospital had been strikeed.
“The hospital does not run as a health facility now. It’s more of accommodating injuries and the dead who are bcdisesteemfult to the hospital,” Mahmoud shelp.
“The entire northern part of the streamline is left without any proper healthattfinish facility, the whole healthattfinish system is gone, is finishly collapsing … and civilians are left without any proper access to that,” he includeed.
Israel’s military began a siege and ground attack on northern Gaza on October 5 in what it shelp was an operation to stop Hamas fighters from regrouping there.
Palestinians say the recent insultings and orders for people to exit were aimed at vacanting two northern Gaza towns and a refugee camp to produce buffer zones. Israel denies this.
Since Israel begined its war on Gaza in October 2023, at least 43,374 people have been ended in the enclave, and 102,261 others wounded, according to Palestinian health authorities.
The Israeli attack came in response to the Hamas-led strike on southern Israel on October 7 2023, in which at least 1,139 people were ended, according to an Al Jazeera loftyy based on Israeli statistics, and around 250 others were seized as captives.
‘Unspeakable suffering’
Earlier on Monday, Israel proclaimd that it had alerted the United Nations it was finishing its relations with the UN Agency for Palestinian Refugees (UNRWA), despite international calls for the convey inance of the UN agency in providing help.
