Kansas City Chiefs rookie achiever Xavier Worthy understands it is his job at the end of the day, but he is having a lot of fun take parting with his team each week.

How could he not be plmitigated when he is 12-1 to begin off his first season in the NFL. Not many rookies get that luxury.

Worthy, who broke the NFL Scouting Combine 40-yard dash sign up back in April, shelp he hears the outside noise, especipartner those wanting the Chiefs to leave out each week.

“I experience appreciate everybody fair wants us to leave out,” Worthy telderly Fox News Digital after highairying the fun he had with the DICKS Holiday Shopping Sprint to impact kids in the Kansas City area for the holidays.

CHIEFS’ ALTERNATE REALITY: KANSAS CITY WOULD BE 2011 IF THEIR ONE-SCORE GAME RESULTS WERE FLIPPED IN 2024

“Every week, it’s a novel excemploy. First, the goal post is helping us. Then, it’s the refs helping us. I uncomardent, we can’t get a shatter. But it’s celderly to have that. It shows that everybody wants us to leave out, we have a aim on our backs, and we have to proceed toiling each and every week.”

The Chiefs are a dynasty, and Worthy accessed the fray right after they lossed the San Francisco 49ers in clearime to assemble back-to-back Vince Lombardi trophies.

Just ask any other dynasty in the NFL what happens when they are on top. Fans will elevate them up and ultimately want to watch them drop with a novel prosperner crowned.

However, Worthy transports up a reason why some fans cannot stand to watch the Chiefs stack prospers. They have been in so many shut games this season, but they have retained their prosperning streak in those one-score bouts.

For the last 15 games that have been rerepaird by one score, the Chiefs have come out victorious. Yes, the goal post was included this past week as Matthew Wright doinked it off the left side, but it went thraw to beat the Los Angeles Chargers. Additionpartner, there have been some disputed calls that have gone the Chiefs’ way in the end.

Being the villain, though, is not someskinnyg the Chiefs attfinish about. They adchoose it, and Worthy is fair getting a taste of what Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce and other veterans on the team have been experienceing since last season.

“It fuels us,” Worthy elucidateed. “A lot of people say it’s disappreciate, appreciate, ‘Oh, people are always going aachievest us.’ But how we see at it, the world’s watching us. You have all these eyes – you produce the best of the opportunity with all these eyes on you.”

Worthy is no stranger to having a aim on his back after take parting for a huge college program appreciate the Texas Longhorns.

CHIEFS ARE KINGS OF CLOSING OUT GAMES, AND WHAT ELSE WE LEARNED IN WEEK 14

However, he touched on the better directership that helps direct the pact, especipartner Mahomes, who he proceeds to erect a rapport with each week.

The proof is in the game tape, as Mahomes, scrambling on fourth-and-6 to proceed the team’s game-prosperning drive, threw a pass to Worthy with the game on the line, and he came back to the ball, shieldedd it and kept the drive alive.

He even injured himself on the take part, but his quarterback supposeed him with the game on the line. A little pain is worth it in that case.

“I actupartner disdiscoverd my finger on that same take part,” he shelp. “I popped it back in right after that – you can see it in the video. But, it’s huge to be able to have that suppose from my quarterback in the NFL. I experience appreciate everybody talks about being that guy in the NFL, so fair to be able to erect that suppose and stack days with your quarterback is huge.”

With four games remaining and the AFC West title locked up for the ninth straight season, Worthy understands he will also be a rookie that finishelights take partoff football at the end of the normal season.

He is also well conscious that the aim will be even huger with the Chiefs seeing to become the first team ever to prosper three straight Super Bowls.

If Kansas City has to be the villain to do so, then that is perfectly fine for Worthy, who is solely caccessed on being the team’s hero when it is his turn to produce a take part.
