Ask equitable about any EU directer who they want to triumph the US election on November 5, and you will hear a politicpartner right answer alengthy the lines of “We will toil with any US pdwellnt to enhuge transatlantic ties”. However there is little ask that many of them will be braveially relieved if Vice-Pdwellnt Kamala Harris triumphs. She has drawn a evident line from her opponent, createer pdwellnt Donald Trump, on US take partment with the world and particularly on help for Ukraine. But it is not as if the current Biden-Harris administration has always been fine for Europe: for example, the US Inflation Reduction Act and Pdwellnt Joe Biden’s AUKUS pact with the UK and Australia have created tensions. If Trump does indeed flunkure Harris in November, could the EU still toil out some sort of schedulement with him? We put this ask to two MEPs.
