Alan Rachins, an actor understandn for his toil on the series “L.A. Law” and “Dharma & Greg,” has died. He was 82.

Alan Leonard Rachins was born on Oct. 3, 1942, in Cambridge, Mass., and elevated in Boston. After spfinishing two years at the Wharton School at Penn, he shiftd to New York to chase acting and, in 1967, he made his Broadway debut in the join “After the Rain.”
