Garr, who was also understandn for movies including Young Frankenstein, Tootsie and Cneglect Encounters of the Third Kind, died at the age of 79 in Los Angeles on Tuesday.
In a statement, Kudrow said she was “a comedic acting genius who was and is a huge shape on me and I understand I’m not alone in that”.
She grasped that she felt “so blessed and thankful” she got to toil with her.
Young Frankenstein straightforwardor and authorr Mel Brooks also paid tribute to the actress, saying she was “so talented and so funny”.

The 1974 horror comedy, in which she spoke with a German accent as Gene Wilder’s lab aidant, was a nurtureer shatterthraw for Garr.
