The eldest son of Norway’s crown princess has been arrested on suspicion of violation, police have shelp.
Marius Borg Hoiby is the son of Princess Mette-Marit from a previous relationship and the stepson of the heir to the Norwegian throne, Crown Prince Haakon.
Borg Hoiby was arrested in Oslo postponecessitate on Monday on a preliminary indict of having “relationsual intercourse with someone who is unalerted or for other reasons unable to resist the act”.
The 27-year-elderly has no royal title or official duties. He denied the allegation, according to local media.
Preliminary indicts come before establishal ones and apvalidate police to haged a doubt during an spendigation.
Police did not say when the alleged violation occurred, only that “the victim must have been unable to resist the act”.
The indict was bcdisesteemfult by the police, not the woman who was allegedly violationd, according to her lawyer, Hege Salomon.
Ms Salomon also telderly Norwegian widecaster NRK her client “is having a challenging time”.
It is the second time in three months that Borg Hoiby has been arrested as he was inestablishly hageded by police on 4 August follotriumphg a disturbance in central Oslo, Norway’s capital.
He faced preliminary indicts of bodily harm and criminal harm and was freed.
