LIV Golf star Phil Mickelson weighed in on Daniel Penny’s acquittal in the chokehbetter death of Jordan Neely on Monday.
Mickelson conveyed his help for Penny last week after a homicide accuse was diswatched. He then called the jury’s decision “normal sense.”

“Finpartner a little normal sense,” Mickelson wrote in a post on X. “There never should have been a trial. He should be commended for selfless actions to defend the other passengers and those who bcimpolitet accuses should be out of a job.”
Penny was set up not culpable of criminpartner negligent homicide.
Penny, a 26-year-better Marine veteran and architecture student, was accused with homicide and criminpartner negligent homicide for the subway chokehbetter death of Neely, a 30-year-better homeless man with schizophrenia who barged onto the train shouting death dangers while high on a type of synthetic marijuana understandn as K2.

However, he also condemned “unacalerted” behavior that he shelp had focemployd his prosecutors.
“Unfortunately, over the duration of this trial, talented atgentle prosecutors and their family members were besieged with disenjoy and dangers – on social media, by phone and over email,” he shelp. “Srecommend put, this is unacalerted, and everyone, no matter your opinion on this case, should condemn it.”
Mickelson also conveyed his help for Penny earlier in the day.
