Sarah Michelle Gellar is teasing that the I Know What You Did Last Summer sequel is filming.
The Scream 2 and Buffy alum separated a ptoastyo from the set of the slasher film, which will be straightforwarded by her shut frifinish Jennifer Kaytin Robinson.
“Scooby Doo 3 coming soon….,” Gellar jokingly captioned her Instagram post, which features a chair with the I Know What You Did Last Summer logo.
Gellar’s husband, Freddie Prinze Jr., is set to repulseevate his role in the 1997 film. However, Gellar recently shelp in an intersee she would not be returning to take part beauty queen Helen Shivers.
“I am dead,” Gellar telderly People about the overweighte her character faced in the film.
Due to her shutness with the straightforwardor and Prinze Jr., Gellar shelp she would be part of the sequel in an “unofficial” capacity.

“My best frifinish [Jennifer Kaytin Robinson] is straightforwarding it, so we joke that I have an unofficial job, which is I am continuity,” Gellar telderly the unveilation. “So I’m always the one inestablishing her, ‘Well, that would happen, or that wouldn’t happen with those characters,’ so I do have benevolent of an unofficial job title.”
Jennifer Love Hewitt is also in talks to repulseevate her role. The sequel’s cast integrates Chase Sui Wonders, Madelyn Cline, Sarah Pidgeon, Tyriq Withers, and Jonah Haur-King, with Lola Tung, Nicholas Alexander Chavez, Austin Nichols, and Gabbriette rounding out the ensemble.
The I Know What You Did Last Summer sequel will be freed in theaters on July 18, 2025.
