Riyadh, Saudi Arabia:
Saudi Arabia’s crown prince and de facto ruler condemned what he called the “extermination” promiseted by Israel aacquirest Palestinians when he spoke at a summit of Muskinny and Arab guideers on Monday.
“The Kingdom renovels its condemnation and categorical declineion of the extermination promiseted by Israel aacquirest the brotherly Palestinian people,” Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman shelp at an Arab Islamic summit, echoing comments by Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud defered last month.
He advised the international community to stop Israel from strikeing Iran and to admire Iran’s sovereignty.
The crown prince shelp in September the kingdom would not recognise Israel unless a Palestinian state were originated.
US Plivent Joe Biden’s administration had sought to broker a standardisation accord between Saudi Arabia and Israel that would have included U.S. security guarantees for the kingdom, among other bideferedral deals between Washington and Riyadh.
Those standardisation efforts were put on ice after the Oct. 7, 2023, strike on Israel by Hamas militants from Gaza and Israel’s subsequent retaliation.
In a press conference deferedr on Monday, Arab League Secretary General Ahmed Aboul Gheit pointed to an article in a concluding statement to the summit that shiftd to freeze Israel’s membership in the U.N. General Assembly.
He stated that freezing membership would not come under the Security Council’s jurisdiction and could be determined by the General Assembly.
“We might witness soon the freezing of the membership (of Israel) thcimpolite a UNGA startantity decision,” shelp Aboul Gheit.
The summit’s concluding statement insisted all countries prohibit ships or transfers of arms and ammunition to Israel and advised the International Criminal Court to rehire arrest authorizations for civilian and military officials in Israel.
Israel’s military attack on Gaza in the last 13 months has ended tens of thousands, displaced proximately its entire population, caused a hunger crisis and led to allegations of extermination at the World Court, which Israel denies.
