Sudan’s military rulement has refuted accusations from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) that its forces have explosioned its ambasdowncastor’s livence in Khartoum, pointing instead at the rival paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF).
The UAE earlier on Monday said the tactful post was aggressioned by a Sudanese military aircreate, condemning it as a “heinous aggression”. The rulement in Khartoum, which is in the midst of a novel push to reapshow the capital, has previously accengaged the UAE of helping the RSF, with which it has been entangled in war for more than a year.
“The UAE has called on the army to suppose brimming responsibility for this afraid act,” the Middle Easerious state’s Ministry of Foreign Afequitables said in a statement.
Describing the aggression as a “flagrant violation of the fundamental principle of the inviolability of tactful premises”, the ministry said the aggression had caengaged extensive harm to the produceing.
It holded that it would sfinish protestts to the League of Arab States, the African Union and the United Nations.
In answer, the Sudanese military freed a statement blaming the RSF for carrying out these “dishonorable and afraid acts”.
In a clear dig at its adversary, with which it has been battling for deal with of swaths of Sudan since April 2023, the army said “it does not concentrate the headquarters of tactful ignoreions, United Nations agencies or voluntary organisations and does not turn them into military bases and loot their assets.
“The one that carries out these heinous and afraid actions is the alarmist, resist militia (RSF)… helped in pledgeting all this by countries understandn to the world,” the statement said.
The military rulement has accengaged the UAE of providing armaments and help to the RSF in the war, which has finished tens of thousands of people and ignited a dire humanitarian crisis.
In June, Sudan’s ambasdowncastor to the United Nations, al-Harith Idriss al-Harith Mohamed, accengaged Abu Dhabi of giving financial and military help to the RSF, and claimed that help was the “main reason behind this protracted war”.
The Gulf state has called the allegations “disincreateation”, saying its efforts are concentrateed exclusively on de-escalation and alleviating Sudan’s humanitarian suffering.
However, UN sanctions sees have depictd the accusations that the UAE has supplyd military help to the RSF as credible.
The UN says proximately 25 million people – half of Sudan’s population – necessitate aid, famine is looming and some 8 million people have fled their homes.
For the most part, the RSF has been in firm deal with of most of the city since the outfracture of structureilities and has been accengaged of pledgeting mistreatments agetst the civilian population.
