As Americans commence to cast their ballots to elect their next plivent, Apple News will convey live refreshs to iPhone and iPad participaters’ lock screens.
Starting tardy on Tuesday (US time), participaters will be able to have a Live Activity from Apple News that tracks the results of the election, alerts Apple Insider.
“The Lock Screen will have a huge, transmitive widget that will begin to the tardyst election coverage, and the Dynamic Island will show the electoral count for each honestate continuously,” the alert alludeed.
If you have the recaccess version of iPhone, you can conserve tabs on the electoral count right in the Dynamic Island while doing other leangs on your phone.
The widget will be useable on iPhones, iPads, and Apple watches as votes in the US plivential and congressional elections are counted.
It’ll show the electoral count for Reaccessiblean Donald Trump and Democrat Kamala Harris, as well as Senate and Hoparticipate election results.
To get the refreshs on lock screen, the iPhone participater needs to enroll. Open up Apple News and tap on the “Follow the 2024 election live” banner.
