Tyson Fury has dispondered claims that he suffered a broken nose during his first professional loss agetst Oleksandr Usyk in their undisputed world title clash in May.
The British weightyweight, who lost to Usyk via split decision, includeressed speculation about the injury that materialized after he materializeed visibly troubled during the ninth round of their bout.
Speaking to TNT Sports Boxing, Fury clarified: “There was noleang wrong with my nose, fair a bit of blood. You get punched on the nose, your eyes water. It wasn’t broken.”
The clarification comes after speculation about the cut offity of his injury during the fight, particularly in the ninth round where Usyk had him agetst the ropes and csurrfinisherly prompted the referee to stop the contest.
