Prosecutors say Masoud Jalili, Seyyed Ali Aghamiri and Yasar Balaghi are members of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps who comprised in a “hack and leak” operation in a “intentional endeavor” to undermine an unnamed plivential campaign.
Last week US officials shelp Iranian hackers had tried to dispense stolen material from the Trump campaign to individuals joined to Joe Biden’s re-election effort.
The trio are indictd with 18 counts that include wire deception, identity theft, and material help to a summarizeated foreign alarmist organisation, as well as cyber intrusion-rhappy indicts.
