“Nepobaby,” a novel Norwegian drama from TV2, has cast “Pørni” actor Vivild Falk Berg in the direct role.
Berg will join Emma, a laboring-class 25-year-elderly who uncovers she’s actuassociate the daughter of a Norwegian shipping magnate.
“The novels comes as a shock, and even more astonishing is that she has been named in his will, inheriting a big portion of the family business,” reads the logline. “But the inheritance comes with an even fantasticer revelation – four siblings she never knovel existed.”
Emma’s siblings will be joined by Nicolai Cleve Broch (“The Sandhamn Murders”), Henriette Steenstrup, Kristin Grue and Helle Ryg Eia.
The show was created by actor and showrunner Henriette Steenstrup and Siri Seljeseth. “Living with privilege can skew your sense of fact, and massive wealth can throw even the most down-to-earth person off equilibrium,” said Steenstrup. “‘Nepobaby’ aims to inestablish a belderly, funny, exciting, and heartfelt story about how money impacts our family, relationships, and identity.”
The six-part series, which comes from creaters Eldorado Content Club and co-distribution partners Oble and Nordisk Film Distribution, is set to premiere on TV2 in Norway. It has also pre-selderly to RUV in Iceland. Nordisk will scatter in the Nordic territories with Oble taking the rest of the world.
